Peanut the Frog

Pugs are funny in that no matter how happy they are, their adorably squished faces remain looking like a sad puppy forever begging for food and Peanut was no exception to the rule. He also loved to sit in what we lovingly dubbed “the frog sit” with his back legs spread out to the side, earning him the nickname Peanut the Frog. When I discovered a frog hoodie for dogs on Amazon, I clicked “add to cart” faster than Peanut could steal a slice of pizza off your plate. In his later years, the little green garment kept Peanut warm and comfortable as he rested on our laps. Immortalizing Peanut in his frog hoodie just seemed right, even if his giant pug eyes begged otherwise.
