Peanut the Fozz

When a friend of ours offered us a Fozzy Bear dog outfit, the obvious answer was “Absofreakinglutely!!” I’m a big fan of Jim Henson and the Muppets, and the opportunity to transform one of my little bears into one of my favorite bear characters was something I could never pass up. Peanut was one of those rare dogs that loved being held in your arms, and sometimes would even demand for it. Turning him into a fuzzy loveable bear was the easiest transformation, since that’s what he already was, costume or not.

The costume was hand made and commissioned by a Brussels Griffon account on Instagram. When the original wearer crossed the rainbow bridge, it was then passed from friend to friend, until it reached us. While the other pugs tried Fozzy on, Peanut was the only one who truly made it work.
